Review :Lounge Fly, Baga Beach, Goa

Had been to Goa over the India Republic day weekend for a short break. Had visited many of the beaches and the beach shacks on my previous trips. So decided to try out something new this time around. Call it a coincidence or whatever, but one of my friends got invited to this new Lounge bar just off Baga beach by his friend and I decided to Chug along.

The place: Lounge Fly
Location: Baga Road ( Next Left After Tito's)

First things first, this lounge bar had one of the longest ( if not the largest bars) I have ever seen . Each side of the bar must have been some 40 mtrs. That apart a perfect ambience to chill out after a long walk on the goa beaches. Nice lightings with huge candles , cosy couches and cushions.Would have loved to sleep those couches there. ( On the negatives, every guest will love to pass out on such couches :) )

Had the chance to taste a couple of cocktails. The Long island ice Tea may not have been the best I have had ( nothing beats Hard Rock Cafe, Montreal..more on that later) , but it was worth the salt, the same goes for the Margarita. ( literally at that ) .
The food which we ate was good enough although the handwritten paper menu did not go well the overall ambience. But the place opened just 10 days ago so that the temporary menu thing can be written off. Also can do with a greater variety especially of the Goan cuisines because it is afterall Goa dude :) Music could have been a little more Lounger Barish . it was too loud especially if u wanna sit on the Bar tables.

Bottomline:
Must Visit if you are a regular Lounger
+ves : Great Ambience and food. Good drinks
-ves : A deck which could have been placed slightly down and better music.
